2009 Dubai Corporate Games Conclude on High Note - The Holding Group and Aramex are Big Winners The 4th edition of the Dubai Corporate Games, organized by High 5, has just concluded on March 13th and 14th, at the American University in Dubai. 30 multinationals and local groups participated in this year’s Games, held under the patronage of the Dubai Sports Council. 900 employees competed in various sports (football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, track, dragon boat racing, tug of war…). ARAMEX and The HOLDING GROUP were the best performing companies. (See table).
High 5 Organizes the 1st Aramex Invitational Basketball Championship
4 Boys and 4 Girls high school varsity b.ball teams took part on Feb 13th and 14th, in the 1st Aramex sponsored invitational tournament, organized by High 5 Events. The American School of Dubai won 1st place in the Girls tournament defeating the team from the American Academy. The Academy Boys also made it to the finals but lost to the High 5 team made up mostly of kids from the French Lycee.
GEMS World Academy and the Lycee Libanais Francophone Ski Trips to Austria and Switzerland.
High 5 Events organized 2 schools ski trips in January 2009. The GEMS World Academy group headed to Alpendorf – Austria, while the group from the Lycee Libanais Francophone flew to Torgon in Switzerland for the 2nd year in a row. (Check the Galleries for pictures).
