The "HOOP IT UP" Expatriate Basketball League

The "HOOP IT UP" basketball league was started in 2005 to provide business people with the opportunity to:

• Participate in a structured competitive basketball league operating throughout most of the year,
• Network with similar-minded business people within the community,
• Remain active long after they have left school or college and lead a healthy lifestyle.

The long-term goal after establishing the "Men’s" league is to provide the same opportunities to women and young ones through the introduction of leagues that cater for them.
